MISSPIN Launches Video Contest
We are glad to announce the Youth Voices in Abuja video contest. Considering the need for youth-focused and citizen-created content on the subject, the contest seeks for short videos (less than 5 minutes) in response to the question: How Can Nigeria Tackle Cybercrime Effectively? Paradigm Initiative Nigeria was represented as nineteen (19) social entrepreneurs from eleven (11) countries gathered in Silicon Valley for the 2010 Global Social Benefit Incubator (GSBI), a signature program of Santa Clara University's Center for Science, Technology and Society. GSBI works with social entrepreneurs to empower them and their organizations to overcome barriers to scale and impact.

Microsoft, PIN Train Teachers
PIN and Microsoft Nigeria are providing ICT training for teachers through a nationwide effort that will see PIN working with secondary schools in Nigeria's South-Western states (starting with Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun from October-December 2011). After a 2-day introductory workshop for 100 teachers, PIN will work with represented schools to use ICT tools in improving their education delivery and more.
